PulseMedica is an Edmonton-based company developing a medical device to treat vitreoretinal diseases that affect over 500 million people worldwide. The company’s state-of-the-art 3D imaging and surgical platform allows for comprehensive patient treatment including machine learning based disease detection, surgical planning, surgical treatment, and post-surgery evaluation. The company has completed its first clinical trial related to diabetic retinopathy to demonstrate the accuracy, safety and efficacy of its imaging and tracking platform. 

PulseMedica was founded in 2020 by Dr. Abdul Elezzabi, Dr. Nir Katchinskiy and Eric Martin.
